This is an issue in my life. Coming from a background where I wasn't allowed to "just be," I still have challenges getting in touch with desire. Because of this, I have trouble obeying the Word:
Delight yourself in the LORD; And He will give you the desires of your heart. ~~Psalm 37:3-5
But because of Sarah's example and other wonderful mentors, this is becoming easier. There's no formula, but I do know if I pursue Him wholeheartedly, He will give.

I think you're doing the first part, Lisa -- delighting yourself in the Lord. It will be exciting to see how He answers the second. Keep pressing in!
Violet, I believe I experience more delight than at any other time, but it's taken work. Praise be to God!
